Problemi dopo l'attivazione di Time Machine

Già prima dell'aggiornamento del firmware,
attivando il supporto a Tme Machine (da Windows),
si perdeva l'accesso del NAS in risorse di rete,
iniziava a lampeggiare il led giallo LAN,
in Amministrazione di sistema,
Impostazioni di rete, non veniva più visualizzata l'indirizzo IP del NAS (e le altre informazioni),
veniva visualizzato: "Caricamento dati in corso, attendere....",
in Gestione,
Informazioni di sistema: "Caricamento dati in corso, attendere....
Accessibili le directory da ftp

Disattivando il supporto a Time Machine, il sistema riprendeva il funzionamento.

Ho eseguito l'aggiornamento alla vers 3.3.2 0819T.

Riattivato il supporto a Time Machine stesso comportamento.

Questa volta il Nas non si ripristina.

Eseguo un riavvio ma si blocca come sopra visualizzando sul display un tentativo di avviare un servizio che non avviene.

Eseguito lo spegnimento del Nas viene visualizzato sul display:
"Shutting down please wait..."
Il led giallo Lan lampeggia, quello verde Status acceso fisso,
la spia rettangolare verde esegue la sequenza: due lampeggi, poi spegne per due secondi, e ripete.

A questo punto il Nas non è più accessibile da ftp.
Continua ad essere accessibile da amministrazione del Nas e a vedersi le dir da Web File Manager.
E' da quasi un'ora in questa condizione.
Un consiglio su cosa potrei fare?

Se scrivi un altro post, verrai abilitato all'invio anche dei messaggi privati sul forum e agli allegati. Quando sarà allega pure il file .txt, quelli che hai inserito sono solo gli ultimi, insufficienti per capire eventualmente qualcosa.
Nel frattempo... il volume RAID-6 è ok?

il NAS finalmente si è spento, e successivamente riavviato, ha montato il volume, ed ha avviato:

resta in questo stato con il led giallo LAN che lampeggia.

Sul forum inglese ho trovato questo. Cmq in generale contatterei il supporto QNAP tramite l'apposito form online.

Grazie per la risposta.
Comunque dopo circa 3 ore di "Ricostruzione del giornale" il Nas ha completato l'avvio ed è stato disponibile
in Risorse di rete e accessibile anche come smb dal Mac.
Ho timore nel riabilitare Time Machine.
Nel nuovo firmware ho visto che non è necessario indicare la dimensione in GB della capacità.
Il campo password presenta cinque pallini neri mentre nel manuale si parla di password non impostata.
Che tu sappia si possono o si devono cancellare questi pallini, o bisogna lasciarli così, per non avere la password impostata.
In precedenza avevo sovrascritto questi pallini con una mia password.
Si può impostare sia da Windows che da Mac?
Dopo le traversie subite ho timore a fare prove per non ritrovarmi nelle precedenti situazioni.
Scusami se ritieni che bisogna aprire un nuovo argomento per questo.

Per quanto riguarda la password è meglio metterne una propria. TM la chiede quando indicherai il NAS come disco di backup.
La password si imposta da browser, quindi che importa se Mac o PC?

Dopo la grande paura e aver fatto un backup di tutti i dati, ho riprovato con successo.
Evidentemente il nuovo firmware deve aver risolto i problemi con TimeMachine.
Solo che io avevo riprovato subito dopo l'aggiornamento del NAS e il suo riavvio.
Probabilmente erano in corso quegli aggiornamenti del libro giornale (che non so di cosa si tratta) anche dopo il riavvio che mi hanno creato quei problemi.
