Vero.
Io l'ho installata da alcuni giorni ormai, sia sulla macchina di backup che su quella principale.
Non ho notato particolari problemi e direi che il sistema è stabile.
Inoltre, è stato fatto un discreto passo in avanti, rispetto alla 5.1.x, per quanto concerne la rapidità del log-in e la fluidità del sistema (almeno sui miei due nas).

E' uscita la versione QTS 5.2.1.2930.

Ogni volta che si avvia il nas, viene installata la stessa versione di File Station 5 5.5.6.4691 installato in "/mnt/ext/opt/FileStation5.

- Fixed an issue where Safari users could not see the capacity of a connected external device in "Desktop > Task Bar > External Device".
- Addressed an issue on the TS-877XU where "Desktop > Task Bar > More > About" would display the wrong device model name if ECC memory modules were installed.
- Fixed an issue where for certain expansion unit models, under certain circumstances a healthy disk on the expansion unit might incorrectly display a "Not Exist" status in "Storage & Snapshots > Storage > External Storage > External Storage Device Management".
- Resolved an issue for some users where after performing NAS migration under certain conditions, storage pools from the old NAS would display an "Error" status on the new NAS.
- Fixed an issue where if a shared folder's name contained certain special characters, the system would fail to record a corresponding log when the shared folder was accessed via Samba.
- Fixed an issue for some users where Control Panel could not display domain users in "Privilege > Users".
- Fixed a French translation issue in the Desktop Notice Board.
- Fixed an issue where after a firmware update, the system might mistakenly display an event log warning that the currently installed version of Advanced Network Driver was not supported.

Confermo i problemi di questa versione. Da me non carica più l'interfaccia (resta in LOADING all'infinito). L'aggiornamento è stato ritirato. Hanno risposto al mio ticket stamattina

Edit: adesso è sparita per alcuni modelli. Per il 473A è ancora online.

Comunque stamattina c'è la QTS 5.2.2.2950, Hero addiritura in versione 5.2.2.2952.

Buongiorno, non aggiornate alla 5.2.2 i 253D, infatti come scritto sopra da @ninoger62 rimane in loading permanente, e la 5.2.2 e' stata rimossa da Qnap per i 253D. Per risolvere il problema dovete reinstallare da console ssh la 5.2.1

Per i 253 D e' uscita oggi la 5.2.2.2958, che dovrebbe risolvere il BUG della 2950 per questi modelli

E tanto per semplificarci la vita, oggi Qnap fa uscire una nuova versione 5.1.9, ovvero tre step indietro rispetto alla 5.2.2 di ieri.
Bisognerebbe comparare le note delle due versioni.

Certo, ovviamente.
Il punto è che un utente poco esperto rischia di combinare qualche pasticcio con tutte queste versioni che si susseguono un giorno dopo l'altro.

Anche la pagina dei download non aiuta in questo senso.
Dovrebbe essere più chiaro a quale versione appartiene l'update che ci si accinge a scaricare.
Ma del resto è abbastanza evidente che da alcuni anni stiamo facendo noi da beta tester.
La 5.2.2 buggata è l'ennesima conferma di un trend.

E tutto questo lo scrivo con rammarico perchè sono cliente Qnap da diversi anni ....

Non avendo un muletto dove fare test, la scorsa settimana ho instalato questa nuova build 5.2.3.3006 sul NAS che utilizzo come backup unit.
Le scorse notti le routine di backup si sono svolte senza intoppi. Perciò ora provo a installarlo sul NAS principale.
Speriamo bene ...
